One of my personal favourite quotes.
I like it because it shocks someones thinking. It gets them questioning what they’ve been doing almost instantaneously when it comes to fat loss.
“You can’t out-train the wrong diet.” Is another.
I’d add to this and refine it: “You can’t out-train the wrong LIFESTYLE.”
Your lifestyle dictates how fast you recover from training, whether or not you get stronger and your energy levels for the training itself.
A lifestyle that doesn’t compliment hard training can even be dangerous.
