Magic breakfast and Rupert Hambly

Magic Breakfast is a registered charity aiming to end hunger as a barrier to education in UK schools through the provision of healthy breakfasts to vulnerable children.

Hunger

  • As many as 1.8 million school age children in the UK are at risk of hunger.
  • This is up to 17% of all school aged children.
  • 4.1 million children in the UK are living in poverty.
  • By the end of secondary school – economically disadvantaged students are 19.3 months behind the average in educational attainment (England).

Provisions

Magic Breakfast currently works in 482 schools, supporting an average of 40,488 children every school day.

In the 2017/18 year, Magic Breakfast provided 7.8 million breakfasts. By food:

2,884,512 bagels

2,016,727 bowls of cereal

1,765,446 glasses of juice

242,705 bowls of porridge

Impact

Independent research carried out by the Institute for Fiscal Studies and funded by the Education Endowment Foundation found that children receiving Magic Breakfast provision make on average 2 months academic progress over the course of a year, compared to children receiving no such provisions.

For these reasons RHHP has decided to work with magic breakfast to help those children in need. How?

RHHP is dedicating one of our conditioning programs per month in order to raise awareness and funds for the charity. The RHHP performance group is a small semi-private body composition program to increase flexibility, mobility, strength and power at the same time as reaching your fat loss goals.

The limit of 2 to 5 people within the program keeps the quality of coaching high (unlike a Boot Camp) using the RHHP method and various studies have shown that training together can increase results and adherence to exercise dramatically.
This makes it the perfect program to support magic breakfast where all the proceeds go to the charity while making you fitter at the same time!

If you would like to support magic breakfast and get fitter with us at the same time, now is the time  ?
