Oh dear…
Why?
Well fine, if there’s a specific reason to train for a very short time to improve total blood volume, VO2peak and maximal anaerobic power, some are particularly effective when performed with strict variables.
It can offer some benefits to those short on time (aren’t we all?).
Recently though, there’s been various people on social media touting a beneficial 30 second workout.
Thats it. 30 seconds and you’re done.
I get it, people need to move and something is better than nothing but remember that high quality progressive movement helps bring these things into your life:
- Injury prevention
- Progressive strength
- Confidence
- A stronger mindset
- Helps create a growth mindset
- Discipline in all aspects of your life
- Increased flexibility
- An amazing relationship with your body
- Resilience
- Better sex
Although 30 seconds can be a starting point, if you knew all the above is possible through a dedicated high-quality progressive movement plan, I think you would agree it is worth more than 30 seconds of your time.
A good example of mastering yourself physically and mentally is Danny Way.
